About the Event

To promote the comprehensive development of the Internet in Taiwan and to enhance its technological innovation and application diversity, our center is launching a public call for proposals related to Internet initiatives. Through this call, we aim to encourage the submission of forward-looking, practical, and feasible proposals from all sectors. Together, we hope to improve the overall convenience and security of the Internet environment. We warmly welcome all organizations committed to the advancement of Internet development to participate actively and share their innovative ideas, contributing to a healthier and more progressive Internet ecosystem in Taiwan.

Application Period From now until September 30, 2025

The call for proposals is divided into four key topics related to Internet development. Applicants may submit their proposals based on the topic most relevant to their project.

1. Internet Policy Research

Conduct in-depth analysis of current Internet policies and Internet governance policy, and propose necessary modifications and improvements to ensure more comprehensive and secure policy formulation for the Internet.

2. Internet Security

Conduct research on the current state of Internet security and propose frameworks, technical or policy plans for security development to enhance the overall development of Internet security.

3. Internet Technology Development

Develop and propose new technological concepts aimed at improving the convenience, ubiquity, sustainability, operational efficiency, and broad application of Internet technologies.

4. Digital Equality and Opportunity

Propose improvement plans that address the current digital divide in remote areas or among disadvantaged groups, aimed at increasing their digital resources and capabilities.

Since 2001, TWNIC has held the annual ".tw Charity Campaign" to give back to society and help bridge the digital divide, by providing subsidies to public welfare organizations for charitable purposes.
Starting in 2024, TWNIC has expanded the scale and scope of the subsidy program — increasing the number of Internet-related topics from a single theme to four, and raising the funding amount.
Through these changes, we hope to support more outstanding projects and contribute to a fairer, safer, and more inclusive Internet environment.
